No going wrong with your stop here. Great brisket, and turkey. All of it moist with seasonings that don't overpower the taste of the meat. Sausage is snappy and just a little smoky. The fried cabbage tastes homemade and fresh. The corn casserole is also a great side that would also make a great dessert. I saved it for last. Give these two guys some business, they are working hard to put out some great que.

I was in Conroe and looking for some barbecue and everyone agreed there was only one place to go and that was Jennings. this is no frills. it's all about the food which was spectacular. no wonder they were top 50 barbecue in Texas. The folks were really nice, friendly to everybody and this is clearly where the locals go. had sliced beef. it was as good as it gets.

Great meats and sides. Arguably the best or very close to the best I ever had. Pros: Great meats, good servers/owners, nice location. Cons: Definitely have to wait (not great in the heat or bad weather), not a ton of dessert options and no sweat tea. Potato salad isn't the best and the coleslaw will get mixed results depending if you like a lot of pepper (I thought it was good). Comparisons: Corkscrew - Both are high end places. I may like the meats better here (it's close) but I enjoy the sides, desserts and the drink selection a lot better at corkscrew. Longer lines. Free refills. Bar-A-BBQ - Beef ribs are offered. Great food, free refills, better sides. Meat is excellent and comparable to Jennings. Shorter lines. Pricing is higher. Other places in Montgomery County aren't at this level.

As a real estate broker traveling all over the Houston metro area, I’m always on the lookout for good local spots—and Jennings & Co BBQ in Conroe blew me away. Hands down the best BBQ I’ve had in the area, and yes, it’s better than most well-known BBQ joints around here. The kicker? They’re running this out of a trailer next to a gas station—which just proves the best food is often where you least expect it. You can enjoy a complimentary beer while you wait, and trust me, you’ll be waiting—lines are long, and for good reason. Be ready for a 30–45 minute wait, but it’s 100% worth it. I’ve already been back twice. My wife swears by the mac and cheese. This place is a hidden gem that puts real care into their craft. Don’t sleep on it.

This place is superb. I ordered the fatty brisket, Jalapeño & Cheese sausage, corn soufflé and fried cabbage. Brisket had great bark, well rendered fat and a great smoke ring. Sausage was fantastic too, very firm and great cheese flavor. Corn soufflé reminded me of my Mom’s fantastic corn pudding and the fried cabbage was different but extremely tasty. I live in Dallas and eat at Terry Black’s all the time, Jennings is easily in the same league. Can’t wait to return!

Brisket is perfectly tender and seasoning is on point, jalapeño cheddar sausage is phenomenal. The corn soufflé is truly amazing and perfect for the picky eater in your life however their flagship side is the fried cabbage… get it. For the Aggies, they do 10% off if you show your ring.

Delicious BBQ and sides! The chicken is some of the best I've tried! Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The brisket melts in your mouth and the ribs are perfect. The brisket beans, potato salad, corn souffle, and mac and cheese are all great! Definitely give them a try!

Stopped by today for family lunch and I was amazing! We ordered jalepeno cheddar sausage, brisket and ribs with potato salad! We could NOT get enough! No complaints or notes! I’m drooling just writing the review! I liked the bbq sauce. It is on the sweeter side which I am a big fan of but the meat didn’t even need it! It was good with the sausage because the sausage was pretty spicy! So good! The ribs were definitely some of the best ribs we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
